a brooch to break your heart

SOLD. one from a series of brooches i made when i was 18 and heartbroken.
my head felt like the scramble of wire and my heart felt like the broken glass.
it was an obvious concept and it's an impractical wear.

because oi am a broken record

I only like this drawing because of the cubist rose.
I wish the bird wasn't on it.
Which kind reflects the concept of the image as an illustration for Oscar Wilde's the Nightingale and the Rose.
Beauty prevails and devotion is forgotten.
It's a cruel world.

GOOD TIMES FOR A CHANGE

The best shot of my favourite subject: my best friend the composer Anna Rose Carter.

It was good what we did yesterday

and i'd do it once again.
the fact that you are married only proves you're my best friend.

COP A BERG

This is a drawing I was asked to do about 3 months ago and have only just got round to scanning in and sorting out. It's to accompany a film festival review in a magazine. Oo la la.
